My name is Sam Blackman. I am a pediatric oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Children’s Hospital Boston. My wife and I moved to Jamaica Plain in 2005 and instantly fell in love with the neighborhood and the environment. As an amateur photographer, I look for images that trigger emotions or memories. I also look for evidence of changes over time, as this is a concept that is critical to my work as a physician and scientist.
